Who this covers

This policy covers eatwildgourmet.com and the inquiries sent through it. Wild Gourmet LLC is a private catering business based in Bozeman, Montana, serving southwest Montana and traveling for expedition work.

We do not publish a mailing address. Reach us by email at [email protected] or by phone at (970) 306-1579.

What this site itself collects

Nothing. These pages are static files. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, and no cookie set by us. We do not build a profile of your visit, and we cannot see which pages you read.

Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as a normal part of serving a website. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

What the inquiry form collects

The form on our contact page is the one place information is collected, and only when you choose to fill it in. It asks for:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number
• The type of service you are asking about
• Approximate dates and guest count
• Location and how far it is from a road
• Whatever you tell us about the event

We use it to answer you, to put together a quote, and — if you go ahead — to plan and cook the meal. Nothing on that form is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else's advertising.

Third parties involved in that form

The form is not ours. It is hosted by HighLevel, Inc. ("GoHighLevel"), embedded on our contact page, and what you submit goes into our account with them. Because it is their form:

• GoHighLevel processes and stores your inquiry on our behalf, and their privacy terms apply to that processing.
• The form runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to tell people from bots. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser to make that decision.
• The form shows its own cookie-consent notice and may set cookies in connection with the submission. That notice comes from GoHighLevel, not from us, and it appears only on the contact page.
• Our GoHighLevel account is set up and maintained for us by SUMMIT Business Automation, the agency that built this site. Their staff can see inquiries in the account in order to support it. They work on our instructions and do not use your details for anything of their own.

Our email address is a Gmail address, so Google handles email you send us and email we send you.

When an event needs something we do not provide ourselves, we share only what that partner needs to do their job — a date, a headcount, a location. Bar service is the clearest example: Wild Gourmet does not hold a liquor or server license. Bar service, where offered, is coordinated through a licensed third-party provider.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send for as long as we need it for the reason you sent it, and no longer than our tax, accounting and insurance obligations require for events we actually catered. Inquiries that never became bookings are kept while there is still a realistic chance of working together.

We have not yet set a fixed schedule in months and years, and we would rather say so than publish one we do not follow. If you want your details removed sooner, ask us — see "Your choices" below — and we will do it.

Email and text messages

When you submit the form you should get an automatic acknowledgement, and then a real reply from us. That acknowledgement is a response to your inquiry, not marketing.

We do not currently send marketing email or text messages. Submitting the form gets you an acknowledgement and a reply about your inquiry, and nothing else. We do not sell or rent your details.

If that ever changes, we will say so on this page, we will ask before adding you to anything, and every message will carry a way to opt out. The newsletter on Substack is separate and entirely opt-in — subscribing there is your choice and you can leave at any time.

Your choices

Whatever privacy law applies to you, we will honor these on request: ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and say which. We will not make you give a reason, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

One honest limit: information already used for a booked event may need to stay in our business records — an invoice, for instance — even after we remove you from everything else.

We offer the rights above to everyone who asks, whatever privacy law happens to apply to them, rather than working out first whether we are obliged to. If a law that applies to you gives you something this page does not mention, ask for it anyway and we will deal with it.

Children

This site is meant for adults booking food service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Inquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and held in our GoHighLevel account, which is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything highly sensitive — payment card numbers, government identifiers — through the form or by email.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes to how we handle inquiries will be described here rather than made quietly.
